Liverpool Botanical Society
Unfortunately, due to the continuing coronavirus pandemic, and now current second ‘lock-down’, it is necessary to cancel our programme of indoor meetings, from 14th November 2020 to 13 March 2021. Things may change if the current lock-down and developing vaccine have the desired effect, you will be notified of any change by e-mail. Council members are currently discussing various options of how to tackle the AGM, due to take place in February.
Some of you have already paid subscriptions for this season, it is intended that these can roll-over to cover the 2021/22 season, for those who wish to do that.

Wishing you all well and stay safe.
Founded in 1906, the Society runs a programme of events, indoor meetings at the World Museum Liverpool during the winter months and field meetings around the region during spring, summer and autumn.
The early years of the Society were documented in the Transactions and Proceedings of the Liverpool Botanical Society, then in a Bulletin and the Society now produces a newsletter Parnassia with news and reports of indoor and field meetings. The Library of the Society is located in the Botany Department in the Museum.
