green-winged orchids at altcar

May 2014, Green-winged Orchids at Altcar. There were a total of 25046 flowering spikes (including 121 of the pink variety and 16 of the white var.alba).

21 on B Range, 2990 on I Range and the rest on C Range (even though that is outside the SSSI - only the outer dunes and I Range are SSSI).

Surprisingly this is nearly 5000 up on last year!!
